“Soyuzmultfilm” was founded in Moscow on June 10th, 1936 and it is the largest animation film studio.

Over time the studio has made more than 1500 animated films of various genres and techniques, and many of them were included in the “golden fund” of the world animation classics, received more than four hundred awards of international festivals.

The most famous and renown animation film made by “Soyuzmultfilm” is “Hedgehog in the fog.” “Hedgehog in the fog” animation film was made in 1975 and still admires watchers and critics, receives more and more praising and awards.

Up to date, the movie has received more than 35 international awards, and in 2003 “Hedgehog in the fog” was proclaimed the best animated film ever.
